LES FOUS DE CHÂTEAUNEUF
Mené par une équipe de professeurs reconnus et talentueux (Vincent Mascart, Jean-Christophe Cholet, Tamara Moses), le Big Band du festival permet à une quarantaine de musiciens amateurs de se produire sur scène au Fest Jazz depuis 2021.Après 5 jours de stage intensif (technique instrumentale, technique vocale et jeu d’ensemble), les stagiaires se réunissent le dimanche pour un concert de restitution qui connait toujours beaucoup de succès.
Led by an impressive and experienced team of teachers (Vincent Mascart, Jean-Christophe Cholet and Tamara Moses), the « Big Band Stage » at the festival has been a superb feature of Fest Jazz since 2021. Every year around 40 young, and not so young, amateur musicians follow a five day course, learning how to play their instruments in a « Big Band » (and there is a very popular Vocal Training course too). The course takes place in the local Collège de Notre Dames des Portes (5 minutes from the festival site). And on Sunday the students gather for a 75 minute concert on Stage 1 of the festival.
