ASSOCIATION JAZZ KREIZH BREIZH

The Jazz Kreiz Breizh association aims to encourage and appreciate jazz in Central Brittany. With this objective in mind, the association is working to set up 3 complementary cultural actions.

The organization of visits to schools (primary and secondary) : 

The “Jazz à l’école” project began in 2008 with the aim of bringing jazz music and culture to young audiences. The association brings a group, Good Time Jazz to schools, colleges and high schools. For one hour, the group presents the history and culture of jazz, enriched with videos and musical performances. 

The organisation of occasional concerts in the region : 

The association has been organising occasional concerts throughout the year since 2005. The organisation of regular events allows us to meet our public and to reach new spectators, always in a friendly and festive dynamic.

The Fest Jazz : 

Since 2005, the Fest Jazz has grown to become the meeting place for lovers of jazz, swing and festive music in Châteauneuf-du-Faou. In the heart of the Centre Bretagne region, the festival welcomes around 5,000 people each year and is becoming increasingly successful thanks to its welcoming and popular atmosphere. No elitism, no complicated and pretentious jazz, but a relaxed atmosphere, with a young and festive mind.
