For this 20th edition of Fest Jazz our “local” star, Malo Mazuriè (who has played in very edition of Fest jazz since he was 13 in 2005) has created a quintet of superb quality musicians (this is not hyperbole!). On tenor sax, the wonderful Prokhor Burlak, who has established himself as one of the top stars in French Jazz, since he recently arrived from his native Russia. On piano, Jean Baptiste Franc, whose brilliance is well known to Fest Jazz audiences and driving the rhythm section, the amazing Simon “Shuffle” Boyer and on string bass, all the way from Australia, one of the most swinging bass players in the business, Sebastien Girardot. With their repertoire of Hawkins and Eldrige running through to Bechet and Spanier, it will certainly be a concert to remember !
