femti fem

Femti Fem consists of the 55 strings of this quartet, played by four musicians from different backgrounds, but united by a shared passion: the traditional music of northern Europe. They offer compositions and arrangements of traditional tunes, often for dancing, drawing inspiration from baroque and classical aesthetics.

Soft, ethereal, but also surprising and energetic, Femti Fem's colours alternate to create a journey, punctuated with surprises and rich in landscapes, embellished with polyphonic vocals. Soft, spacious, but also surprising and energetic, Femti Fem's colours alternate to create a journey full of surprises and rich landscapes, enhanced by intoxicating vocal polyphonies. The quartet brilliantly conveys the subtleties of the repertoire and specific instruments (the Swedish nyckelharpa and the Norwegian hardingfele), telling you stories and other Nordic legends through their music.

To be won over, all you need is curiosity, the courage to embark on the journey, and to push open the door... Välkommen!
