      Très connu dans le monde du jazz, son premier concert a eu lieu à l’âge de ses 10 ans ! Tom Waters est devenu le plus grand promoteur du blues/jazz saxophone. Il travaille avec les plus grands : The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies, Jools Holland et a su se créer un nom dans le milieu du jazz. Son père, Ben Waters et à ses côtés lors de ses tournées. Tom Waters a été influencé par les saxophonistes de Ray Charles ou encore David Sandborn et Nigel Hitchcock.

     Pour son jeune âge, Tom Waters a déjà beaucoup voyagé. Il a visité l’Argentine, réalisé une tournée en Nouvelle-Zélande et joué dans le Glee Club à Tokyo mais aussi au Ronnie Scotts, club de jazz de Londres et The Iridim de New York.

Well known to Fest Jazz audiences (he first played here when he was 10!), Tom Waters is becoming one of England’s greatest exponents of blues\Jazz saxophone. Working with The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies, Jools Holland, he has already made a name for himself. Touring with his dad, Ben Waters, he got to see a lot of the world from an early age and play with second-line bands in Chicago (Southern Komfort Brass Band) to pop bands in Canada (Broken Social Scene). Tom shows a wide range of versatility and creativity in his playing. 

He is influenced by Ray Charles’ sax players from Hank Crawford to David ‘Fathead’ Newman and studies the style in which they play. He also draws influence from David Sanborn and Nigel Hitchcock. 

Tom for such a young age has managed to see a lot of the world. He has visited Argentina and toured New Zealand and even played Jazz at the Glee club in Tokyo. He has also played at Ronnie Scotts and The Iridium in New York.
