“Fascinated by old vintage recordings from the early 20th century, The Hot Teapots are a musical collective which started as a street performing band based in northern Italy.
Their repertoire is composed of jazz tunes from the New Orleans tradition, country-blues, ragtime, long forgotten dance hits without disdaining incursions into calypso, south American music and a handful of original tunes.
Their line-up is variable. Typically, it would be a five-piece band composed of six-string banjo/guitar and vocals, reeds, upright bass/tuba, trombone and violin”
